“Doing Business in China and India” – Opportunities and Challenges
Came across this very interesting presentation from Jul ‘06 on “Doing Business in China and India” by Prof. Sebastian Teunissen*.
Large file (1.1MB), 120 slides but worth a look…
* Prof Teunissen is the Adjunct Professor and Executive Director of the Clausen Center at Haas School of Business, Univ. of California in Berkeley.

Dear Editor,
much appreciation for posting the ‘Doing Business in China and India’ presentation by Professor Teunissen, its a valuable piece, fascinating too. Though these two regions are some of the hottest among commentary on ‘doing business in…’ destinations, I encourage the share of more in-depth China-India insight like that available in this presentation.
Always interested in reading critical yet informative works on China and India, in fact, I’m an editor of the China-India blog http://www.2point6billion.com, we welcome you and your blog visitors to read or contribute perspectives on China and India issues around economy, society, politics and environment.
Thanks again!

Thanks for linking over to Professor Teunissen’s presentation. I loved reading how various companies have shaped their operations to suit China and India and the differences between them. I thought Professor Teunissen’s best comment was how companies going into either China or India must realize there is no one person who is an expert on everything in either country. So true. I see this when consultants veer over to try to do legal work in China (usually a disaster) and when our legal clients ask us to do consulting work in China (we bring in the right consultants for them).
Really good post. I’m coming back.

That 2point6billion blog is really neat, well done to the guys at Dezan Shira & Associates for getting that up. Excellent work Miss Sumita! Does this mean Chris Devonshire-Ellis will go to India as well? And a great post by Prof. Teunissen also. The China-India debate hots up!
